Profile
We are a clinical and management consultancy and have worked extensively in the health system in England and Wales, and the Republic of Ireland.
The company has become one of the most highly respected, leading-edge consultancy teams working in healthcare and, while true to the original vision, is very different today from when it was first established in the 1990s by the present Directors.
A lot of our work is about achieving strategic and operational change. We support Boards and frontline clinicians to deliver better services for patients and staff which are sustainable both clinically and financially. We support the redesign of primary, community and hospital based services, and importantly how these should integrate. We support changes in services to improve safety, quality, promote well being and reduce health inequalities.
Our key differentiator is that we employ senior clinicians who, as you would expect, have the necessary credentials to be able to successfully engage with frontline staff and challenge clinical practice. Having worked on many projects we are able to bring new insights which are grounded in reality.
We will apply our learning from international best practice care, which is continually updated by our analytical team of senior information analysts, health economist, operational researchers, and workforce planners.
We also have a senior team of highly skilled and knowledgeable finance professionals, who have extensive experience of working with Boards and have detailed knowledge of how services are funded, regulated and governed in the NHS and internationally.
We have a track record in advising on business development and financial strategies to ensure the continued availability of resources for services.
We also provide intensive support to achieve financial turnaround and have experience of assessing whether existing and future service investments offer 'best value', as well as providing assurances on risks.
We also advise and support workforce planning which is essential for reconfiguring services and important for improving services by fundamentally changing the way clinical staff work and their remuneration.
We are on a number of frameworks which makes the time taken to commence projects shorter, and can make contractual issues relatively easier. In 2006 we were accepted as an approved contractor for the Department of Health's (England) Framework Agreement for consultancy services for the Commercial Directorate for our clinical consultancy.
Teamwork was a SACS accredited consultancy for Gateway Review for the UK Office of Government Commerce (OGC), which is part of the HM Treasury, before the Framework Agreement expired. The OGC Gateway Process examines an investment programme or project at critical stages in its lifecycle to provide assurance that it can progress successfully to the next stage.
As you would expect we continually strive to improve the quality of our services for our clients and everyone who works with us. We have an accredited Quality Management system which is compliant with the British and European Quality Standard ISO 9001:2000.
